Recession may favor Free/Open Source Adoption

With the predictions of a recession looming large over the IT horizon, a lot of Microsoft shops who swore that they never did, do, nor ever will use any Free/Open Source software are now seriously contemplating migrating to FOSS as means to reduce costs. FOSS is expected to come out of this phase in relatively better shape than most proprietary competitors.

Let’s wait and see if the future is indeed open 🙂
